Standard Horizon BQ-270V Perfect Binder

The BQ-270V perfect binder, introduced in January 2012, was designed to replace the very popular BQ-270C - with the added advantages of a sensor-activated caliper, variable thickness book of one capability, and increased productivity. This newest binder is equipped to better serve the ultra short-run book production needs of the POD and commercial print book markets.

The BQ-270V offers easy,intuitive operation that requires no special operator skills to achieve superior quality from the first book. All setups can be done instantly by simply inputting book block and cover information into the 10.4" color touchscreen. Books are produced up to 2 inches thick at a maximum speed of 500 cycles per hour. The strong, rigid nipping and scoring stations are comparable to larger industrial book binders for strong, accurate binding.

The BQ-270V's compact configuration with full automation is positioned to meet the demands of the short run, print-on-demand book market.
