The new BaumBinder 300 offers high quality with minimum investment - from the individual copy to smaller runs. Designed for perfect binding books, reports, catalogs, manuals, booklets, brochures and more. The fully automatic self-centering clamping station is provided with an automatic opening and closing mechanism, a unique jogging system and three timed programs for cover nipping. An electronically controlled interval system for paper dust and paper chip removal offers perfectly "clean" binding quality. Depending on the need and the paper type, binding is carried out either with hotmelt or dispersion gluing. Easy exchange of the glue tanks reduces the set-up times to a minimum.
Glue is applied via a rotating drum equipped with a continuously adjustable glue-metering device. The BaumBinder 300 processes individual sheets and folded sheets with a book thickness of up to 1.58inches (40mm) [80 g/m2] with and without cover. The BaumBinder 300 guarantees high flexibility for fast-changing jobs in particular and offers a quick-grip clamping device with automatic book thickness presetting. The BaumBinder 300 offers optimum binding quality with hotmelt and dispersion application, versatility, easy use and short set-up times, resulting in perfect finishing and a solution to coated stocks with silicon that have trouble adhering.
